My agent Doorknock, live and free, researches a company from its own website,
scores it against your rules, and files the lot in HubSpot before a salesperson
rings. That loop, understand, decide, act in a real system, is what "agent"
means when it is not marketing.
What they are good for now
The high-volume, judgement-light work between your systems: research and
enrichment, drafting from your real records, monitoring for exceptions, keeping
data tidy as it arrives. Wired to accounting, field service, a warehouse,
anything with an API.
The guardrails that matter
Agents act, so scope what they may touch, log what they do, and keep humans on
anything irreversible. Mine never improvise policy and never sign anything; per
